Druid's Temple

HERESY site visit to Druid’s Temple 2021.

The temple is in Ripon, North Yorkshire and not a real temple but a 19th century folly.

Based on well known stone circles and prehistoric monuments the temple was built by William Danby, a wealthy landowner who paid local workers a shilling a day for their labour.
